  2. Hi…Does this course has requirements? like basic knowledge in programming

    • Hi, Edge!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

The list of basic trainee entry requirements on the TESDA site did not mention anything about previous knowledge in programming, but the schools/training centers offering the course are free to impose any additional requirements that they may deem necessary so it’s best if you’ll contact the school/training center you’re going to enroll at so they can give you an accurate response.

      Trainee Entry Requirements:
      – At least high school graduate or equivalent experience
      – With artistic and drawing skills which will be validated by a talent entrance exam to be administered by the training institution using a tool devised by the Technical Experts Panel (TEP) and Participants of the National Validation of this Training Regulation
      – the submission of a portfolio (hard & soft copy should be provided)
      – Good moral character
      – Mentally and emotionally able.
      – Has the capacity to communicate in both oral and written
      – Physically able to manipulate a mouse, track-ball, electronic pen, etc.
      – Must know how to operate a computer

“This list does not include specific institutional requirements such as educational attainment, appropriate work experience and others that may be required from the trainees by the school or training center delivering the TVET program.”

  3. Hi! I just want to know those schools that are offering this course. I’m from antipolo and I would like to know those schools around NCR. Thanks.

    • Hi, Qwerty!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

It depends whether you’re going to enroll at a private school or training center or if you’re going to enroll at a training center directly handled by TESDA. As far as we know, training sessions at TESDA training centers are for free while training at private institutions are usually not.

      • San offered to within metro manila? yung hawak ng tesda… gusto ko mag pa sched as soon as possible 😉

        • Hi, Rakkista!

          Thanks for visiting our site.

There are currently no schools or training centers listed on the list of institutions authorized by TESDA to offer 2D Game Art Development NC III. We’re not sure if the list is updated, though, so you might want to check with the nearest TESDA office to be sure.

They have a regional training center in Quezon City so you can probably start from there.
