    • Hi, Rolly!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

We’re sorry but we have no available information about Registration and Testing Centers for Batangas City. Also, registration for the 2012 test is already closed. Registration centers for the 2013 test won’t probably be announced until next year.

      🙂

  2. Sir/mam What month can i take the acceleration test

    • Hi, Kevin!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

The examination usually falls on the month of October. Deadline for registration, however, ends a couple of months earlier. For example, this year’s exam is scheduled on October but the registration ended last July.

      🙂

    • Hi, Ian!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

The Bureau of Alternative Learning System issues certificates of rating and diplomas to graduates of the program, but we’re not sure if they also hand out report cards. It’s best if you’ll contact BALS directly so they can give you an accurate response.

      🙂

      🙂

    • Hi, Ram!

      Thanks for coming back.

Attending the ALS A & E classes is optional, so it’s up to you whether you’d attend them first or take the exam right away. ALS coordinators strongly encourage students to go through them first so they can catch up on the things they might have missed out on, though.

      🙂

  10. Kahit ano course ba pde sa c0llage pag galing s als?

    • Hi, Ram!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

Yes, you can take any two, three, four, or five-year degree program after getting the certificate that proves that you passed the ALS A & E test.

      🙂

I was unable to finish my fourth year for reason. I was hoping I will never have to return there for some requirements needed for als. I want a fresh start po, and ang klase po ba ay five times a week or once a week lang na parang review? Sorry for asking too much, I really need this lang po. Looking forward to your help and answers for all of them, thank you very much.

    • Hi, Det!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

The classes are optional; however, BALS strongly encourages people who are interested in taking the ALS A & E Test to take the classes first so they can catch up on the things they might’ve missed out on while they were out of school.

July 31 was the deadline for registering for the test.

According to the ALS coordinator we spoke with, you can enroll for the classes anytime.

Form 137 is one of the basic requirements for enrolling in the program, so we’re afraid you might have to return your school to get it if you don’t have it with you. 🙁

It depends on the teachers/coordinators. The one we spoke with encourages her learners to show up at least 12 hours per week although it depends on them how they’re going to spread those 12 hours in a span of one week.

For cases where the learner really can’t make it to class, they are allowed to take home modules that they can study and answer at home with the condition that they must return it at least within the week for checking.

      🙂

  12. Hi i just wanna ask if pwede pang makapag register sa ALS exam? nakaregister lang kase ako sa ALS class wala pa ko binigay requirements. i’m from pampanga po.

    • Hi, Kris!

We’re sorry but we’re not really sure about that. It’s best if you’ll contact the Bureau of Alternative Learning System directly so they can give you an accurate response. 🙁

  13. Iask, sir mam what month can i enroll in als can i enroll , july?

    • Hi, Ram!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

ALS classes are supposedly accessible to students anytime of the year, but you might also want to try inquiring around the month of November as the ALS A & E test would have just been finished by then and most classes would probably be starting anew.

      Good luck! 🙂

  14. I just wan’t to come back and say thank you to Courses.com.ph for guiding me about this. I just wen’t to the nearest DepEd District Office and then they asked me to bring “Barangay Certification” and 3pcs 2×2 picture of white background with name tag. Then after i submitted it i will now attend the FREE review every sunday! 😀

    • Hi, Jhon Andrew!

      Thanks for coming back.

You’re welcome. We’re glad to hear that your classes will start soon. Good luck with your activities and thank you for sharing what you found out with our other readers!

      http://balsontheweb.wikispaces.com/Module+Review+Outputs

As for the review, you can enroll for A & E classes at your nearest public elementary school or high school. You can also check out your nearest barangay hall to see if they also offer A & E classes. Just look for the ALS coordinator and they’ll tell you what to do.

      Good luck! 🙂

    • Hi, Ernson!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

We’re sorry but we don’t know where to get diplomas that have been submitted for correction, either. It’s best if you’ll call the Bureau of Alternative Learning System directly so they can tell you where to go.

      🙂

  19. hi po…tanong ko lang po, pwede po ba yung elementary graduate lang at hindi man lng naka tuntong ng high school but if he/she passed the A & E Test ma-accredit directly to 1st year college?

    • Hi, Shaine!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

As much as we’d like to answer that question for you, we’re not affiliated with the Bureau of Alternative Learning System so we’re not really sure about that. It’s best if you’ll contact them directly so they can give you an accurate response. You can find their phone numbers above.

      🙂

Unfortunately, that’s the only e-mail address we’ve managed to find. If it no longer works, you could probably just call them up using any of the telephone numbers above.

  21. Hi. I just want to ask something. Where can i find the ALS modules?

    • Hi, Monique!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

You can find the ALS modules on the page below. We’re not sure how updated they are, though, so you might want to check with the Bureau of Alternative Learning System to verify if they’re still using them.

    • Hi, Rechiel!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

We’re sorry but we have no available information about schools offering ALS classes in Caloocan. We’ve come across graduates of the ALS program who have advised interested individuals to ask at the nearest barangay halls or public schools in their area, though, so you might want to try that option as well.

Alternatively, you can also probably call the DepEd office nearest you so they can point you to the right schools. You can find their contact info on this page:
      http://www.courses.com.ph/philippine-educational-placement-test-2012/

      Good luck! 🙂

      • Hello!

Yes you will be, provided that you’ll pass the ALS A & E Test. 🙂

We’ve come across some reviewers on the internet, but we’re not sure if they are official or not. Just google “ALS reviewer” and you’ll find some.

        Good luck! 🙂

    • Hi, Jhon Andrew!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

You can find the examination schedule and the registration procedure above. More information can also be found on this DepEd page: http://www.deped.gov.ph/cpanel/uploads/issuanceImg/DM%20No.%2093,%20s.%202012.pdf
DepEd hasn’t posted the list of Registration and Testing Centers on their main website, though, so it will probably be a good idea to check with the DepEd office nearest your place so they can tell you where to register. http://www.deped.gov.ph/directory.asp

IDs submitted that are not mentioned in the above list are not valid for registration and will not be honored by the TRO. ” so we guess, that probably means no.

Postal IDs are actually easy to obtain, although you may have to pay around 350 PHP for it. If that wouldn’t be possible, “School drop-outs who are not employed and not old enough to acquire the above documents must submit an authenticated birth certificate”

There are ALS classes that you can attend to help you catch up with the things you missed while you were out of school, we just have not been able to confirm if you’re required to take it before applying for the test or you can skip and take the test right away. For that, it’s best if you’ll ask BALS or DepEd so they can give you proper advice.

      Good luck! 🙂

      • Ok, maybe i will just go to a DepEd office and inquire. Thanks a lot for your quick response! 😀

        • Hi, Jhon Andrew!

          You’re welcome.

We’re glad to be of help. 🙂

  28. SAN PO MRON TESTING CENTER NG ALS SA LAGUNA AT PARANAQUE.?TNX

    • Hi, Mariel!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

Unfortunately, the list of registration and testing centers for the ALS A & E Test 2012 has not been posted on the DepEd website yet. It will probably be best if you’ll call the Bureau of Alternative Learning System or the DepEd office nearest you so they can give you a quick response.

      Good luck! 🙂

  29. i am a late enrollee student and my recent school is not accepting me, am i required to join the ALS? if ever yes what are those requirements needed and how can i contact you?

    • Hi, Charlie!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

The ALS A & E program is not mandatory, so it’s up to the individual whether he or she would enroll in it or not. It’s also mainly targeted at individuals who have been out of school for so long that they would normally have a lot of catching up to do if they’re going to take traditional classes, so we’re not sure if it will be applicable in your case since you mentioned that you just didn’t manage to enroll on time. It will probably be best if you’ll consult your school officials or the Bureau of Alternative Learning System so they can give you proper advice.

      Good luck! 🙂

    • Hi, Levi!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

We’re sorry, but we have no available information regarding the schools or institutions offering ALS A & E classes. It’s best if you’ll contact the Bureau of Alternative Learning System directly so they can give you an accurate and more detailed response.

      Good luck! 🙂

    • Hi, Carren!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

Were you talking about the registration center for the ALS A & E test or the ALS classes?

There is said to be at least one for each city (registration center/schools where you can take ALS classes), but we’re not so sure about that. It’s best if you’ll contact the nearest DepEd office so they can give you a more accurate and more detailed response.

      🙂

    • Hi, Ivan!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

We’re sorry, but we don’t have available information about schools that are offering ALS classes. We’ve seen graduates of the program who have advised people interested in taking ALS classes to either go to their barangay halls or the nearest elementary/high schools to ask where they can enroll, though, so you might also want to try that.

      Good luck! 🙂

I am 33 years old at interesado po akong matapos ang aking high school po. San po kaya ako pede pumasok. Hoping for you response. Maraming salamat po

    • Hi, Gary!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

We’re sorry, but we currently don’t have available information about schools that are offering ALS classes. We’ve seen graduates of the program who have advised people interested in taking ALS classes to either go to their barangay halls or the nearest elementary/high schools to ask where they can enroll, though, so you might also want to try that.

      Good luck! 🙂

    • Hi, Arlene!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

We’re sorry but we haven’t seen the list of registered testing centers for the ALS A & E test 2012 yet. It’s supposed to be posted on the DepEd website, but their site is currently inaccessible. You might want to check their website after a couple of days to check if it has already been posted or you can also call their office so they can answer your question faster.

      🙂

    • Hi, Charles!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

Were you talking about the ALS A & E test for elementary or high school students?

If it was for high school students, we guess the first thing you need to do is make sure you have your ALS A & E diploma as you’re going to need it when you seek admission to a specific school. Next step would probably be looking for schools that you can enroll at. You can find the list of various schools all over the country as well as their available courses on this page: http://www.courses.com.ph/philippine-schools-colleges-and-universities/.

Once you’ve chosen the school you want to go to, you might want to contact their representatives so they can tell you the things you need to do or the documents you need to submit to enroll at the school. We’re not experts when it comes to matters like this, so we’re not sure if our advice would be of any help, but we wish you luck on your goals.

      🙂

    • Hi, Henry!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

We haven’t heard of an online A & E Test so far, but an ALS A & E test was conducted in Bangkok before so there’s a possibility that you can take the test overseas. Why don’t you try to contact the BALS? They would probably be able to give you more information about the registered testing centers for the upcoming test.

      Good luck! 🙂

      • hi,how could i contact the BALS mam/sir?really i want to finish my highschool so that i can go to college to pursue my career..pls help me.

  37. Dear Sir/Madame,

I am thinking about this ALS and A & E test for my brother who didn’t able to finish even Primary School.May I ask if those required documents must all be submitted to avail the test or just any of them. I wish I could help my brother he’s quite talented and clever. Its a pity he wasnot so interested in studying when he is younger. I think he’s turning 19 now if Im not mistaken

    • Hi, Cecile!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

Yes. All the documents mentioned above must be submitted to register for the test. As for the identification card, you just need to pick one from the list given, depending on which ID you already have. 🙂

    • Hi, Nerissa!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

We’re sorry, but we have no available information regarding the schools that offer ALS A & E classes. It’s best if you’ll contact the Bureau of Alternative Learning System using the contact information above so they can help you with your concern. 🙁

As far as we know, anyone can enroll for the ALS A & E program as long as you are at least 15 years of age, so we believe your age is just fine. It’s still best if you’ll contact BALS to be sure, though. 🙂

      • good eve po…ask ko lng po kung pde long hair? kc po bka may hair cut required? @_@ salamat!!

        • Hi, Edward!

          Thanks for visiting our site.

So far, none of the ALS staff that we have spoken to has mentioned anything about prescribed haircuts, so that probably means there is none.

          🙂

  39. good evening sir. i just want to ask kung panu magenroll or register sa als? i have a yaya who is reached 2nd year highschool, gusto ko sana siya ienroll dito.
magkanu po ba nagagastos sa ganito. thank you.

    • Hi, Kat!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

Were you referring to the ALS A & E Test or the ALS A & E classes? If you were referring to the test, you can find the procedure and the list of requirements above. The registration centers have not yet been announced, though, so you might have to wait for a few more days (June 09 onwards). Test registration, administration, and issuance of certificate of rating and diploma is for free.

As for the ALS classes, we’re not sure about the exact cost, but from what we’ve gathered, you would hardly have to spend for anything except for IDs and similar stuff. For more information, it’s best if you’ll contact the Bureau of Alternative Learning System using the contact info above.

      Good luck! 🙂

  40. IM ONE OF THOSE 2004 A & E PASSERS.
HOW AND WHERE CAN I GET CERTIFICATION OF GOOD MORAL CHARACTER? PLEASE HELP THANKS

    • Hi, Marlon!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

From what we know, the school you last attended should be the one to give you a certificate of good moral character. We just don’t know if the Bureau of Alternative Learning System also issues certificates of good moral character specifically for ALS A & E graduates/passers. If you want to be sure, you could probably contact them using the contact information above.

      Good luck! 🙂

  41. hello sir/madam,

i will just ask lng po kung kelan po nmen mkkita ung list ng registration centers na accesiblle sa area nmen? and ask ko lng po kung after po ba mg register ano na po ung susunod n ggwin? may lectures din ba like classroom lectures na aattendan before mag exam?

    thank you po 🙂

    • Hi, Anne!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

Regional directors have until June 08, 2012 to submit the official list of testing centers for the 2012 ALS A & E test, so the list would probably be published a couple of days after that date.

From what we know, there are classes under the ALS A & E program that you can attend either on an actual school or online, but we’re not sure if those classes are something that you can attend only if you want to or if they are something that you need to attend before you can take the ALS A & E Test. 🙂

    • Hi, Munique!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

Yes. Once you’ve been granted your ALS A & E certificate that certifies that you have the same qualifications as those of regular high school graduates, you can pursue any two, three, four or five year course you want.

      🙂

  43. Good morning. If one is an ALS test passer, can he/she be enrolled in any private universities and in any BS courses here in metro manila? Wouldn’t there be any problem such as denial from college application/admission(assuming that he/she passed the college entrance test) because he/she is “only” holding an ALS cetificate and not a regular HS diploma?

    • Hi, Mimai!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

Yes. An individual who has passed the ALS A & E test can enroll in any two, three, four or five-year courses in any private or government-sponsored/ college or university.
Hmm… ALS A & E is based on official mandates from the government, so we’re guessing there shouldn’t be any problem. You might want to check with the school you’re going to enroll at to be sure, though.
