Bachelor of Science in Interior Design in the Philippines


 

The Bachelor of Science in Interior Design (BS Interior Design) is a four-year degree program in the Philippines that will teach you about the principles of interior design, space planning, application of colors, basic furniture production, and budget management among other things.

Some examples of courses that you may take while enrolled in this program include:

  • Interior Design
  • Freehand Drawing
  • Graphics
  • Perspective
  • Color Theory
  • Color Rendering
  • Color Dynamics
  • Set and Lighting Design
  • Visual Techniques
  • Computer Aided Design
  • Theory of Design
  • Furniture Design
  • Materials and Resources
  • Interior Construction and Detailing

Aside from taking those courses mentioned above, you may also undergo a minimum of 150 hours of On-the-Job training at architectural firms, furniture shops, and other companies involved in the design industry.

CAREERS

Qualified graduates of Bachelor of Science in Interior Design can find employment as any of the following:

  • Visual Design Manager
  • Auto-CAD Draftsman
  • Interior Designer
  • Interior Lighting Designer
  • Other similar positions

LICENSURE EXAMINATION
