  4. Hello.

I’m a fil-am nursing student at the university of Iloilo and I want to shift to BSRT at Iloilo Doctors College because I heard they offer the course there. I’m curious if you know if BSRT at Iloilo Doctors College is accredited in United States?

Also do you know of any RT that have visible tattoo’s and are employed?

    • Hi, Chris!

We’re sorry, but, unfortunately, we don’t. Perhaps getting in touch with the accrediting body would help?

Yes, we’ve heard of a number of working RTs that have visible tattoos. Apparently, it depends on company policy. Some are okay with it; some have a bit of an issue against it.

If you were asking about the admission requirements and the enrollment process, we suggest you get in touch with any of the schools that offer this course as requirements and enrollment procedures may vary. Perhaps checking with the schools on the list of top performing schools in the radiology licensure exams that you can find right at the bottom of the post might help?

    • Hi, Rev!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

If you click the links under the “Licensure Examination” part of the post, you’ll find the list of top performing schools for the Radiologic Technology board exam. Some of the schools in those lists are from Mindanao.

Hmmm… As much as we’d like to answer that for you, we’re not really sure about that. It might be best if you’ll consult the Professional Regulatory Commission or actual Rad Tech graduates so they can give me a more accurate response.

    • Hi, Arlo!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

Unfortunately, except for some general information, we don’t know much about the different schools in the Philippines. Visiting forums where students exchange information about their schools might help, though. Pinoyexchange might have some threads related to that. πŸ™‚

  13. ask lang po ako if meron po bang school offering masters in radiologic technology dito sa pinas?…ano po school na yun?..salamat kaajo!

    • Hi, Herlando!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

Unfortunately, we haven’t come across any schools offering Master of Science in Radiologic Technology. πŸ™

  14. hello,

meron bang chance na makapg take ako ng board(PRC) kahit n nasa ibang bansa.. Im here in dubai, pwde ba ako mag exam ng radiologic technology dito sa dubai.. meron ba?

    • Hi, Antonio!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

We’re not really sure about that. PRC does facilitate special licensure examinations for aspiring CPAs, Engineers, and Nurses in the Middle East, but, so far, the only locations they have been conducted in were Abu Dhabi, Doha, Riyadh, Jeddah, and Al Khobar.

You might want to try to contact PRC to see if they would be willing to consider adding Radiologic Technologist Exams in the future, though. If there’s enough demand, who knows.

  16. Hi!I am a graduate of BS Nursing and currently working as a nurse analyst from mon-fri. I’m thinking of taking up BSRT. Would you know if there is a school offering weekend classes or maybe online courses? Thanks!

    • Hi, Kristine!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

Unfortunately, we have no knowledge of schools that offer weekend or online courses for BSRT. If we do come across such information in the future, we’ll post it on the site. For now, your best bet might be to call up schools with health sciences programs to ask.

  17. Hi, meron po bang BSRT sa Marawi State University?. Gusto ko po kasing mag aral don eh πŸ™‚
    Thank you ^_^

  18. 3rd year BS MEdical technology student po ako. Kapag nagswift po ba ako ano po ang makekredit sa mga subjects ko?

    • Hi, Jomar!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

General education courses are often the first to be credited followed by subjects that have similar course descriptions to the subjects you are going to take. It’s at the school’s discretion whether to give credits or not and up to how many, though, so it’s best if you’ll consult them so they can give you a more accurate and more detailed response.

      Good luck! πŸ™‚

  19. Meron po bang BSRT sa UST ??? GUSTO KO PONG MAG ARAL SA UST EHH

    • Hi, Joseph!

Unfortunately, BSRT is not included in the list of programs published on their website. You might want to check with UST to be sure, though. πŸ™‚

  20. Hi..Im Herbert and I am looking for a school offering BSRT in Manila.. can you recommend me some? please and thank you

  21. I had graduated from BSRT course at Iloilo Doctors College in 1997 pa po,pero hindi ako naka take ng board exam, nawili na kasi ako sa abroad..my brother is encouraging me to take the licensure but im scared i was so behind baka may additional subjects at yong mga edition ng books na ginamit namin noon baka nag iba na..pwede pa po bang ipagpatuloy or mag shift sa related din sa course ko..

    • Hi, Liezel!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

We haven’t heard of any age limits when it comes to licensure examinations so far, so that’s probably possible. If you’re worried about being behind, you could probably ask schools or search the internet for current BSRT curricula. You can then look for related reference materials that you can use to catch up online or at libraries.

As for shifting, that’s also possible although it may take some time as there’s the question of how many units are going to be credited should you take another course. We don’t have much information about these matters, though, so it’s probably best if you’ll contact the schools you are thinking of enrolling at so they can give you proper advice.

      Good luck! πŸ™‚
