    • Hi, Rea!

If you’re already set on taking the course, we suggest you get in touch with the schools that offer them so they can give you a rundown of the admission requirements as well as the step-by-step procedure on how to enroll. You can see some examples of the schools that offer the course at the bottom of the post. Just click “more” to get the full list.

  6. the scientific reasoning and critical thinking course for social studies major really new curriculum? because our instructor for this course has no syllabus for the said curriculum.

    • Hi, Jhon-Jhon!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

Schools with deregulated or autonomous status are free to modify the curriculum suggested by the Commission on Higher Education (the one followed by most schools) according to how they see fit. Because of this, they may or may not offer subjects that are or are not being offered at other schools.

      🙂

  8. I am already teaching in one of the universities in the Philippines. I just want to know if I need to take up the general education courses and professional education courses because I am already done with them, aside from the major courses that I want to take? I am interested to study social science because anthropology and other social science courses facinate me.

thank you in advance for the reply. I hope that you will be able to find time answering my queries.

    • Hi, June Dee!

Thank you for visiting our site!

As far as we know, credits are usually given for courses that have already been taken in another school or another program as long as the course descriptions are the same. It’s at the discretion of schools whether to give credits or not as well as how many units they’re going to allow to be credited in advance, though, so it would probably be best if you’ll get in touch with the official representatives of the college or university you are planning to enroll at to make sure. 🙂

  9. Hi Nathz! Thank you for your comment. 🙂

And yes, we do not list all the subjects in all courses and programs here at Courses.com.ph.

We decided to just list enough professional / major courses to give an overview of the kind of subjects the students are gonna take under the program. What we did though for this particular post is add the “among others” in the list to make this explicit.

    Thanks.
