Bachelor of Science in Food Technology



The Bachelor of Science in Food Technology (BSFT) is a four-year degree program in the Philippines that will train you in applying principles of science and other related fields in the handling, preparation, processing, packaging, storage, and distribution of food to ensure that they remain safe and nutritious.

Some examples of courses that you may take while enrolled in this program include:

In addition to taking the subjects mentioned above, you may also undergo a minimum of 300 hours of On-the-Job Training at manufacturing companies, food service establishments, research centers, and government agencies involved in the handling and regulation of food and other related products such as the Department of Agriculture (DA), Department of Science and Technology (DOST), Department of Trade and Industry (DTI), and the Department of Health (DOH).
