Why did you choose to take the course you did?
Drawing has always been my passion, so I’ve always known that I would be taking BFA when I grow up.
For you, what was the most interesting part of studying BFA? What about the most challenging?
I would have to say it’s photography. I really enjoyed the times when we would do photo shoots at different locations.
What kind of activities did you do when you were still a BFA student?
We did a lot, but aside from the photo shoots, the one I can remember up to now is drawing portraits. I drew a good number of them. Hehe!
What were the things you learned from taking up BFA that you find very useful in your current work?
I think it helped me become independent because we had to think for ourselves during our solo projects.
Do you have any advice for incoming college students who are thinking of taking the course you did?
Be serious with your study and avoid taking the things you are not very interested in lightly. Things that may seem boring to you now might prove to be very useful in the future, so try to learn as much as you can.
Do you think you chose the right course? Why or why not?
Yes. Because I get paid to do the things I love.
