Electronics Engineer and Electronics Technician Board Exam 2013



The  Electronics Engineer and Electronics Technician Board Exam, also known as the Electronics Engineer and Electronics Technician Licensure Examination, is a board exam facilitated by the Board of Electronics Engineering under the Professional Regulatory Commission to assess the competency of  graduates of BS Electronics and Communications Engineer and Electronics Technician graduates.

SCOPE OF THE EXAM

As per R.A. 1080, individuals who passed the board exam need not take the civil service exams to be eligible for the following positions:

  • Broadcast Engineer
  • Telecommunications Engineer
  • Computer Systems Engineer
  • Biomedical Engineer
  • Robotics/Mechatronics Engineer
  • Optics Engineer
  • Electronics Technician

SCOPE OF THE EXAM

The licensure exam will cover all the important things you have learned during your two or five years in college. These include the following:

  • Basic Mathematics
  • Ohm’s Law
  • Electronic/Electrical Machine or Equipment
  • Test Equipment
  • Electronic/Electrical Component
  • Maintenance and Repair
  • Philippine Electrical Code
  • Philippine Electronics Code
  • R.A. No. 9292 – Electronics Engineering Law of 2004

TAKING THE EXAM

Licensure exams for BS Electronics and Communications Engineering graduates are held twice a year. Below are the dates and testing centers for the 2013 Electronics Engineer and Electronics Technician Board Exam:
