Foundry Pattern Making NC II in the Philippines



Foundry Pattern Making NC II is a short TESDA course in the Philippines that will train you in manufacturing all types of solid, split and turned patterns and pattern component parts, including but not limited to general engineering patterns, master patterns with multiple contraction, skeleton, frame and strickle, wheels, pulleys, chain sheaves, impellors, etc.

Some examples of skills that you will acquire from enrolling in this course include:

  • Reading, Interpreting, and Applying Engineering Drawings
  • Performing Mensuration and Calculation
  • Reading, Interpreting, and Applying Specifications and Manuals
  • Performing Shop Maintenance
  • Developing and Manufacturing Wood Patterns
  • Developing and Manufacturing Polymer Patterns
  • Developing and Manufacturing Assembled Plated Patterns
  • Developing and Manufacturing Production Patterns
  • Performing General Woodworking Machine Operations
  • Using and Maintaining Measuring Instrument

Course Duration

Foundry Pattern Making NC II takes a minimum of 158 hours to complete.

Admission Requirements

Common requirements for TESDA courses include:

  • Copy of Birth Certificate authenticated by NSO
  • Copy of High school or College Diploma
  • Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records
  • 1×1 Pictures
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
