Why did you choose to take the course you did?
Because I originally wanted to take up BS Tourism, but it was not available at the University of Manila. Some of their teachers suggested taking BS Foreign Service instead, so I gave it a try and now I am having fun.
What was the most interesting thing about the course?
The thing that I find most interesting about the course is that it will allow me to travel the world while working for embassies.
What kind of activities did you do in your major subjects?
We attended seminars and participated in activities that boost our communication skills.
What advice can you give to incoming students who are thinking of taking the same course you did?
The only advice that I can give if you’re going to take this course is to make sure that you are really interested in it and that it matches your skills.
What are the things you learned from the course that have proven to be very useful in your work?
I learned many things from taking this course like world geography, the laws of different countries, and the proper way of interacting with different types of people.
Do you think you chose the right course?
Yes, I would recommend this course because it’s very interesting and it works well with the things that I am good at. BS Foreign Service isn’t that hard. It’s very challenging and it can help you develop your character and mold yourself into a future ambassador.
