Language Courses Offered by TESDA in the Philippines
Language courses are short TESDA courses designed to help trainees gain a basic or intermediate understanding of a particular language either for the purpose of communicating with future employer/s and co-workers or for carrying out the tasks that they are expected to perform at work.
Examples of language courses that are currently being offered by TESDA are as follows:
- Basic English Language (100 hours)
- Basic Japanese Language and Culture (150 hours)
- Basic Korean Language and Culture (100 hours)
- Basic Mandarin Chinese Language and Culture (100 hours)
- Basic Arabic Language and Saudi/Gulf Culture (100 hours)
- Basic Spanish Language for Different Vocations (100 hours)
Trainee Entry Requirements
- Filipino (Male or Female)
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Must be pre-selected / pre-qualified to work locally or in-country foreign-owned company or overseas
Documents Required
- Original copy of ANY of the following:
- College or High School Diploma
- Transcript of Records
- Training Certificate from TESDA registered program
- National Certificate or Certificate of Competency issued by TESDA
- Original copy of NSO birth certificate
- Three (3) pcs. 1”x1” and (1) pc. 2”x2” ID pictures with white background
- One (1) long brown envelope
- Computer-based Manpower Profile to be encoded upon submission of all documentary requirements
