Why did you choose to take the course you did?
I needed it for our small business.
What was the most interesting thing about the course?
Being able to learn to prepare financial reports.
What kind of activities did you do in your major subjects?
Posting transactions, preparing profit/loss statements, cash flows, and balance sheets.
What advice can you give to incoming students who are thinking of taking the same course you did?
Prepare to do some studying at home or buy additional books to supplement the things you’ll learn from school. Practice solving problems.
What are the things that you learned from the course that have proven to be very useful in your work?
Preparing financial statements, understanding accounting terms, a better understanding of when to use the words debit and credit. I also learned to use journals and ledgers.
Do you think you chose the right course?
Definitely! The knowledge I gained in this course is very useful. For people with small businesses, it helps make accounting easier. You will know where your money went and how it was spent. For those who are seeking part-time jobs, this course is very in demand.
