Why did you choose to take the course you did?

There’s a high demand for agriculture graduates today, not only here in the Philippines, but also overseas.

What was the most interesting thing about the course?

Plant breeding, crop science, and organic agriculture.

What kind of activities did you do in your major subjects?

Characterization, selection, propagation, etc.

What advice can you give to incoming students who are thinking of taking the same course you did?

Enjoy your lessons and learn to read scientific articles.

What are the things you learned from the course that have proven to be very useful in your work?

Thesis discussions (research). Also, application of sustainable agriculture.

Do you think you chose the right course?

Yes. It’s very relevant to recent trends in agriculture, especially when it comes to organic or sustainable agriculture.
