Rizaldo Ynclino on Heavy Equipment Services (Mechanical) NC II

Name: Rizaldo Ynclino

Course Taken: Heavy Equipment Services (Mechanical) NC II

Current Job: Specialist Heavy Equipment Fitter

Why did you choose to take the course you did?

Because it is an interesting course and it’s easy to find a job both here and abroad.

What was the most interesting thing about the course?

The interesting thing about this course is answering the big question ” How does big machines work in terms of mechanical, electronic, and hydraulic processes?”

What kind of activities did you do in your major subjects?

Actual or hands-on activities related to my dream subjects — mechanical and hydraulic systems.

What advice can you give to incoming students who are thinking of taking the same course you did?

Study well and always observe proper safety precautions as advised on the service manual. This course is not  an easy one. I’m proud that I am a Specialist Heavy Equipment Fitter. I’m a product of NMYC (now TESDA). I have my own company now but I’m still working overseas at the same time.

What are the things you learned from the course that have proven to be very useful in your work?

This course opened my  mind and helped me understand how big machines work.

Do you think you chose the right course?

I’m proud to say this course is one of the best courses to take because if you graduated and became a heavy equipment mechanic, there’s no more need to fall in line to find a job.
