Why did you choose to take the course you did?

I took the course because it is one of the courses with high demand abroad.

What was the most interesting thing about the course?

The most interesting thing about the course was welding a pipe in 6G position.

What kind of activities did you do in your major subjects?

We did so many activities like checking the area to prevent accidents, preparing welding materials, setting up welding equipment,welding carbon steel plates and pipes using SMAW, and cleaning the area after welding.

What advice can you give to incoming students who are thinking of taking the same course you did?

My advice to the incoming students is to do the 5s, which is SORT, SET, SHINE, STANDARDIZE, and SUSTAIN. Enjoy welding and repairing!!!

What are the things that you learned from the course that have proven to be very useful in your work?

Learning the 5s proved to be very useful to me. I can now interpret welding process specifications and operate welding equipment using SMAW.
