Senior High School Specialized Subject: Business Ethics and Social Responsibility
Business Ethics and Social Responsibility is one of the specialized subjects under the Academic career track and ABM learning strand. Some examples of the things that you will learn from taking this subject include:

- The impact of belief systems
- The Filipino Value System
- Social Responsibility of Entrepreneurs
- The responsibilities and accountabilities of entrepreneurs
- Major ethical issues in entrepreneurship
- Models and frameworks of social responsibility in the practice of business
- Business Beyond Profit Motivation
While studying, you will also be asked to demonstrate what you have learned by participating in class activities that may include the following:
- Crafting simple “Codes of Ethics” or “Codes of Right Conduct”
- Identifying responsibilities to the business organization he/she belongs to
- Preparing and implementing a personal action plan to help a company practice business ethics
- Providing evidence that thical/social responsibility is good for the business
- Suggesting ways to just and fair business policies and practices
- Giving examples of how belief systems affect business practices
- Analyzing how the Filipino value system affects simple business situations
- Recommending ways of confronting ethical challenges in the business setting
