Animal Production NC II in the Philippines



Animal Production NC II is a short TESDA course in the Philippines that will train you in raising poultry, small and large ruminants and swine. Some examples of skills that you will acquire from enrolling in this course include:

  • Applying safety measures in farm operations
  • Using farm tools and equipment
  • Performing estimation and basic calculations
  • Raising poultry, small and large ruminants and swine
  • Practicing occupational health and safety procedures

Course Duration

Animal Production NC II  takes a minimum of 860 hours to complete.

Admission Requirements

Basic requirements for this TESDA course include:

  • Copy of NSO Birth Certificate
  • Highschool or College Diploma
  • Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records or Form 137
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • 1×1 and/or 2×2 Pictures

Careers 

Qualified graduates of Animal Production NC II can find employment as any of the following:

  • Poultry Raiser
  • Livestock Raiser/Farmer
  • Entrepreneur (Animal Production)

Competency Assessment and Certification

Students enrolled in the Animal Production NC II  course may be required to undergo a Competency Assessment before graduation. You can take this at any TESDA Accredited Assessment Centers for Animal Production NC II. A National Certificate (NC II) will be issued to students who passed this assessment process.
