Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication in the Philippines



The Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication (AB Mass Comm) is a four-year degree program in the Philippines that will train you in the effective use of different media in order to send out specific messages to targeted audiences.

Some schools have Communication, Broadcasting, and Journalism as majors under the Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication/ Bachelor of Science in Mass Communication program. Some schools, however, have opted to dissolve the said program altogether and turned the previous majors into three separate courses with individual degrees.

  • Media Management and Entrepreneurship

Aside from taking the courses mentioned above, you may also undergo an On-the-Job Training at TV stations, radio stations, film companies, publishing companies, advertising firms, and other similar agencies, organizations, or establishments to give you an opportunity to put what you have learned into practice.
