Paanu po ba mag-enroll online for BSCS?
Hi, Wilfred!
From what we know, BSCS is more focused on how computers work and how you can instruct them to act in a specific manner using mathematical formulas. BSIT, on the other hand, is more concerned with how you can use computer programs to make business operations faster and more cost-effective. You can think of it as the CS handling the design and development part while the IT professionals handle the implementation. Because of this, BSCS often has more math and science-related subjects than BSIT, while BSIT has more business-related programs than BSCS.
This is not absolute, though, and depending on the company that employs them, the work of BSCS and BSIT graduates may sometimes overlap.
