Customer Services NC II in the Philippines



Customer Services NC II is a short TESDA course in the Philippines that will train you in assisting customers who wish to avail the products or services of retail stores such as department stores, specialty stores, supermarkets, fast food outlets and other similar establishments.

Some examples of skills that you will acquire from enrolling in this course include:

  • Preparing products for display
  • Selling products and services
  • Interacting with customers
  • Operating retail equipment
  • Balancing register/terminal
  • Performing stock control procedures
  • Merchandising food products (Elective)
  • Performing merchandise presentation skills (Elective)

Course Duration

Customer Services NC II takes a minimum of 156 hours to complete with an optional 80 hours more of elective subjects.

Admission Requirements

Basic requirements for this TESDA course include:

  • Copy of NSO Birth Certificate
  • Highschool or College Diploma
  • Certified True Copy of Transcript of Records or Form 137
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • 1×1 and/or 2×2 Pictures

Careers

Qualified graduates of Customer Services NC II can find employment as any of the following:

  • Sales Clerk/ Sales Assistant
  • Product Specialist
  • Promo Merchandiser
  • Customer Service Clerk/Assistant
  • Service Crew
  • Cashier
  • Counter-Checker/Bagger
  • Jr. Visual Merchandiser

Competency Assessment and Certification

Students enrolled in the Customer Services NC II course may be required to undergo a Competency Assessment before graduation. A National Certificate (NC II) will be issued to students who passed this assessment. You can find more information on assessments and certifications at the official website of TESDA.
