Customs Brokers Board Exam 2013



The  Customs Brokers Board Exam, also known as the Customs Brokers Licensure Exam, is a board exam facilitated by the Board for Customs Brokers  under the Professional Regulatory Commission to assess the competency of  BS Customs Administration graduates.

As per R.A. 1080, individuals who passed the board exam need not take any other qualifying exams to be eligible for the following positions:

  • Customs Broker
  • Customs Appraiser
  • Declarant
  • College Instructor

SCOPE OF THE EXAM

The licensure exam will cover all the important things you have learned during your four years in college. These include the following:

  • Customs Laws and its Implementing Rules and Regulations Including R.A. 9280 25%
  • Tariff Laws and International Trade Agreements 25%
  • Warehousing, Transportation, and Cargo Handling Operations 25%
  • Practical Computation of Customs Duties, Taxes, and Other Charges 25%
    • Part I – Classification of Imported Articles
    • Part II – Computation of Customs Duties, Taxes, and Other Charges

TAKING THE EXAM

Licensure exams for BS Criminology graduates are held twice a year, usually around the months of March and October. Below are the dates and testing centers for the 2012 Criminology Board Exam:
