Dental Technology NC IV in the Philippines



Dental Technology NC IV is a short TESDA course in the Philippines that will train you in fabricating and repairing crowns, bridges, dentures and other dental prosthetics/appliances based on dentist’s prescriptions.

  • Arranging artificial teeth for complete dentures
  • Setting-up and wax removable partial dentures
  • Waxing, processing, and finishing acrylic dentures and appliances
  • Fabricating thermo formed bases and appliances
  • Repairing and modifying dentures and appliances
  • Fabricating oral splints
  • Fabricating orthodontic appliances
  • Fabricating cast metal removable partial denture framework
  • Fabricating metal crown and bridge structures

Course Duration

Dental Technology NC IV takes a minimum of 3, 499 hours to complete.

Careers

Qualified graduates of Dental Technology NC IV can find employment as any of the following:

  • Dental Technologist
  • Dental Lab Technical Services Supervisor

Competency Assessment and Certification

Students enrolled in the Dental Technology NC IV course may be required to undergo a Competency Assessment before graduation.       Hi, Ruth!

      Unfortunately, there are no training centers in Cebu that is listed on TESDA’s list of training centers authorized to offer this course. We’re not sure if there have been any changes to that list, though, so you might want to check with TESDA to be sure.
