  • Assisting client in accordance with salon procedures
  • Determining client’s health and restrictions through consultation
  • Ensuring client’s safety and comfort during the entire process
  • Providing client first-aid treatment or the benefit of a health personnel, if necessary
  • Using appropriate equipment, implements, and materials
  • Selecting and preparing supplies/materials and hair treatment product
  • Demonstrating haircutting techniques
  • Confirming client’s satisfaction and make adjustments if requirement
  • Storing products used following salon procedures
  • Disposing waste items in accordance with Occupational Health and Safety requirements
