  7. Hi,

I’m a graphic artist, currently employed, and has 4+ years of experience in the design industry. I just wanted to ask is it possible to take any competency test for Visual Graphics Arts without taking the TESDA Course?

    Thanks & more power!

    • Hi, Chester!

      Thanks for visiting our site.

According to the TESDA official we spoke with, enrolling in the classes is optional. If you’re confident that you already have the knowledge and skills you’ll need, you can go ahead and take the exam immediately. We’re not sure if all TESDA offices implement the same rule, though, so you might still want to contact the office nearest your place to be sure.

    • Hi, Clendelyn!

      Thanks for visiting the site.

As far as we know, everyone can take TESDA courses as long as they meet the basic requirements of TESDA and the school or training center they will be enrolling at.

Right now, all we know are the usual requirements required by most schools/training centers. You can find those on the link below. For the specific requirements, it’s best if you’ll contact the school/training center you are thinking of enrolling at so they can give you a more accurate and detailed response.

            Thanks for visiting our site.

You can use this tool from TESDA to locate the nearest school that offer a particular course. Just type in the name of the course you want then click “search.” After that, just click the “View Courses Authorized” option and you’ll see the school/training center’s address and contact number.
