De La Salle University College Entrance Test (DLSUCET) 2013 for SY 2014 – 2015



De La Salle University has announced the application and testing schedules for the De La Salle University College Entrance Test (DLSUCET) for SY 2014 – 2015. Read on below for details.

 

Application Period

July 03 –  September 14, 2013

 

Qualifications 

International Students

  • Must have finished Grade 11
  • Must be certified qualified for the Tertiary Level by the Department of Education (Philippines)

Transferees

  • Grade Point Average (GPA) of at least 85% or its equivalent
  • No failure in any subject
  • No incomplete grades
  • No unofficial dropped subjects

Second Coursers

  • Must be a graduate of a De La Salle School
  • Must have earned the first undergraduate degree within the last three (3) years
  • Must not have had any failure in any course/subject in the first undergraduate degree
  • Must have a Grade Point Average of at least 2.500 in the first undergraduate degree

 

Application Requirements

Freshmen

  • Filled out and printed Undergraduate Application Form
  • A photocopy of their 4th year high school report card for high school graduates
  • Certified Correct Secondary Scholastic Records (Use the DLSU Secondary Scholastic Record)
  • Two (2) recommendations from any two of the following (Use the DLSU Recommendation Form)
    • 3rd of 4th year High School Subject Teachers
    • 3rd or 4th Class Adviser
    • 3rd or 4th Guidance Counselor
  • Three (3) identical passport sized photographs
  • A photocopy of National Statistics (NSO) Birth Certificate for or any valid substitute Filipino citizens (For applicants who will apply and take the DLSU-CAT in the Provincial/External Testing Centers (ETC), a hard copy of the application form may be secured at the designated testing center (ETC) or at the DLSU Enrollment Services Hub).
  • Non-refundable application fee of Php 600.00 (Filipino and Dual Citizens).

International Students

  • Certified Correct Secondary Scholastic Records
  • Photocopy of certificate of qualification for tertiary level from the Department of Education.
  • Photocopy of the secondary school Transcript of Records.
  • Two (2) recommendations from any two of the following (Use the DLSU Recommendation Form):
    • 3rd or 4th year High School Subject Teachers
    • 3rd or 4th year Class Adviser
    • 3rd or 4th year Guidance Counselor
  • Three (3) identical passport photographs
  • Photocopy of Birth Certificate, ACR/IR or passport
  • Non-refundable Admission Processing Fee of US $50.00 (includes application form, testing and processing, informational materials).

Transferees

  • Completely filled-out Pre-Application Form
  • Transcript of Records (TOR) with grading system or copy of grades issued by the Registrar to admissions@dlsu.edu.ph (If enrolled in a trimestral system, midterm grades are required to be submitted).
  • Online Undergraduate application Form (*requirements from here onwards only apply to those who are qualified to take the exam)
  • Two (2) recommendations (Use the DLSU Recommendation Form) from any two of the following:
    • Dean
    • Department Head
    • Professor
    • Guidance Counselor
  • Three (3) identical passport photographs
  • A photocopy of National Statistics (NSO) Birth Certificate for Filipino Citizen (or any valid certificate); ACR/ICR/ passport or photocopy of Birth Certificate for non-Filipino Citizen
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character
  • Authenticated copy of TOR (for students who studied abroad only; to be submitted upon enrollment)
  • Non-refundable application fee of Php600.00 (Filipino and Dual Citizens) or $50.00 (non-Filipino or International students).

Second Coursers

  • Completely filled out Pre-Application Form
  • Application letter addressed to the Admissions Committee stating reasons for a second undergraduate degree.
  • Official Transcript of Records (TOR) with date of graduation.
  • Letter of Recommendation from Dean/Chair of the college/department where the first undergraduate degree was taken.
  • Certificate of Good Moral Character from the previous College/University.
  • Authenticated copy of TOR (for students who studied abroad only; to be submitted upon enrollment)
  • Filled-out application form and non-refundable Application Fee of PhP600.00 for Filipino Citizens or $50.00 for non-Filipino Citizens (If the evaluation was approved).
