Why did you choose to take the course you did?
My father was a farmer. My childhood memories of green fields made me love farming. The animals and plants in our backyard were my playmates. For me, farming is life.
What was the most interesting thing about the course?
Bringing organic food to my table is my number 1 priority. What excites me most is making my own feeds, fertilizers, and concoctions through fermentation and other techniques.
What kind of activities did you do in your major subjects?
Organic farming, breeding animals, and making feeds for animals.
What advice can you give to incoming students who are thinking of taking the same course you did?
Follow your passion.
Do you think you chose the right course?
I believe so. The Philippines is an agricultural country. Producing food will never become out of style. If you want, you can also work abroad by taking this kind of course.
